Jokowi Welcomes Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga at Bogor Palace

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo welcomed the arrival of Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga at the Bogor Presidential Palace in West Java on Tuesday, October 20.

Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga and his wife Mariko Suga arrived at 16: 00 Western Indonesia Time and was greeted by the Indonesian president and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo as the pair exited the vehicle carrying them to the palace. 

The state-ministers present in the meeting were Home Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi, Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, State Secretariat Pratikno, and State-owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir.

This marks Yoshihide Suga’s inaugural visit to Indonesia after replacing Shinzo Abe, who unfortunately stepped down due to health issues back in August this year.
