IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – NasDem Party secretary-general Johnny G. Plate stated on Thursday, February 25, 2021, that the party officially supports the choice taken by President Joko ” Jokowi” Widodo who had actually decided not to revise Law No. 7/2017 on the basic election.
The statement is available in contradiction to the NasDem Celebration’s preliminary stand that pushed for the General Elections Law (UU Pemilu) to be revised, including to “stabilize” the regional elections of 2022 and2023
NasDem formerly called for some modifications to be carried out on the Short article that manages parliamentary limit, proposing to increase the minimum limit from 4 percent to 7 percent.
