IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – The number of COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, as of 8 a.m. Monday, November 9, is 1,575.
Hospital spokesperson Col. Aris Mudian said the number included inpatients in Tower 6 and 7 and asymptomatic patients in self-isolation venues of Tower 4 and Tower 5.
In a written statement, Aris outlined there were 1,036 patients in Tower 6 and 7, comprising 519 men and 517 women, which were a drop by 23 compared to the data on Sunday, November 2020. “Previously, there were 1,059 inpatients.”
Meanwhile, there are 539 asymptomatic carriers being isolated in Tower 4 and 5, comprising 273 men and 266 women. The figure increased by 11.
Since being designated as an emergency hospital on March 23, 2020, Tower 6 and 7 have received 24,108 patients. Of which, 23,072 patients were discharged; 438 patients referred to other hospitals, 22,626 patients recovered, and 8 patients died.
The isolation towers of Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Emergency Hospital since September 15, 2020 has accommodated 13,409 asymptomatic carriers. A total of 13,043 of them were declared recovered and two patients were referred to other medical facilities.
