AirAsia Indonesia to Resume Several Domestic Flights

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – AirAsia Indonesia announced on Thursday, June 16, 2020, that it will re-open a number of domestic routes and gradually increase its flight frequency as the aviation industry is entering the “adaptation period” towards what the government hope will be the new normal.

“The Jakarta-Medan and Jakarta-Bali flight seat availability will be added in the adaptation period. Other domestic routes will also be opened such as to Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Lombok,” said AirAsia Indonesia president director Veranita Yosephine Sinaga in a press release on Thursday, July 16, 2020.

AirAsia Indonesia also announced that it will offer domestic transit flights from Medan to Bali, Medan to Lombok, and Medan to Surabaya through Jakarta with competitive prices, schedule flexibilities, same-day credit account processes, and up to 15-kilograms of free baggage capacity for domestic flights.

Flight bookings are all available on its website airasia.com and AirAsia mobile app. The air carrier also assures its customers that it abides by strict safety and health protocols and also accommodates special-needs passengers. Credit accounts are able to be used to book airfares up to 730 days since its issuance.
