The police in Jember, East Java, have jailed and called an Iraqi person a suspect for assaulting and robbing a 30- year-old transwoman from the province ' s Bondowoso regency.
The suspect, identified just as WH, 40, allegedly stabbed his victim, recognized only as AHF, when he visited her at her rooming home on Monday.
Jember Cops chief First Insp. Solekhan Arif said that WH had gone to visit AHF with the supposed intent of a sexual encounter.
After AHF let WH in the latter right away got the victim from behind and threatened to stab her, Solekhan said.
