Jakarta. Indonesia got almost 9 million dosages of the Covid-19 vaccine from the United States and several European countries on Sunday alone, marking the most significant shipment of vaccine donation in a single day.

” All the vaccines that we got today were donated by our pals through Covax,” Health Ministry spokesperson Siti Nadia Tarmizi stated, describing the UN-supported worldwide vaccine-sharing plan.

Those vaccines were transferred in four freight airplanes, consisting of 1.42 million Moderna dosages contributed by France, another 3.32 million doses from the United States, and 4.24 million AstraZeneca doses from Germany and Greece, according to Health Ministry information.
