The long-gestating strategy to modify the 2006 Citizenship Law has taken spotlight once again as the House of Representatives welcomed a variety of professionals and stakeholders to talk about the prospective merits and pitfalls of double citizenship, especially as it relates to the welfare of the Indonesian diaspora and national sovereignty.
