The preemployment card program’s management group is putting on hold a strategy to conduct in-person training to make sure the security of receivers and instructors, says an authorities.

Denni Purbasari, the executive director of the program, revealed the choice on Tuesday following a meeting with national COVID-19 task force spokesperson Wiku Adisasmito.

The government previously purchased Denni’s workplace to hold a pilot program for in-person training in so-called green zones, which were claimed to fare much better than red zone locations in regards to COVID-19 infection numbers.

But the number of green zones is decreasing, according to Denni, as a result of a surge in verified cases. The national tally for COVID-19 cases is 225,030 since Tuesday afternoon.

” For that reason, we were encouraged to postpone offline training for the sake of not only the economy but likewise the health of the preemployment card recipients,” Denni stated in a virtual presser.
