IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – The number of recovered COVID-19 patients at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital for COVID-19 has reached 2,998 as of June 19, 2020.
Marine Colonel Maris Aris Mudian, a spokesman of the emergency hospital, said the figure was accumulated from the data recorded since March 23, 2020.
“Since March 23, 2020, the hospital has registered a total of 4,759 inpatients, and discharged 2,821 of them as they had recovered (from COVID-19),” Maris said.
According to him, the hospital recorded 26 more recoveries today. As many as 138 patients were referred to other hospitals, while three patients succumbed to the illness. The hospital has now treated 624 patients.
“The Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital is now treating 653 patients, 338 men and 315 women,” he said.
Of the number, he added, 624 patients were diagnosed positive for COVID-19. The rest 28 patients showed reactive results of rapid testing. The hospital did not treat patients under surveillance (PDP), but only one person under monitoring (ODP).
