IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – The Soekarno-Hatta Airport aviation security has named an officer of the airport’s COVID-19 rapid test program as a suspect after the person in question had allegedly committed sexual harassment and extortion against a passenger.

Police commissioner Alexander Yurikho on Tuesday confirmed this news in a text message to Tempo this afternoon, Sept. 22, “[The person] has been named a suspect.”

The police commissioner did not spill the authorities’ plan to arrest the suspect. However, earlier today, Jakarta’s Metro Jaya police Senior Commissioner Yusri Yunus said that his office has obtained the identity and crucial personal information of the suspect.

“We obtained the person’s data from Kimia Farma,” said Yunus earlier today. “The [suspect’s] initials are EFY. We have his home address, personal identity, and ID card. We will hunt him down.”

Police previously said the victim is currently undergoing psychological assistance from the Integrated Service Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children (P2TP2A) of Gianyar, Bali.
