IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – The Covid-19 Emergency Hospital in Jakarta, Wisma Atlet, has 2,784 in-patients as of Tuesday, October 13. The official says the number increased by 85 compared to Monday.
Colonel of Marines Aris Mudian said that the patients are categorized into two: inpatients who tested positive for the coronavirus, and patients who are staying in the private flats for self-isolation.
The number of patients who had been confirmed positive is 1,409 people, up by 26 from Monday’s 1,383 patients. Aris said the positive patients, 693 men and 716 women, are being treated in Towers 6 and 7 of the apartment-turned-hospital.
Meanwhile, the occupants of private flats for self-isolation increased by 59 to 1,375 people: 784 men and 591 women. They are staying in towers 4 and 5.
Since it was functioned as an emergency hospital for Covid-19 patients on March 23, the Wisma Atlet has had 20,949 positive cases admitted with 19,182 recoveries and 7 deaths. Meanwhile, the self-isolation flats have had 7,455 occupants since September 15.
