Komnas KIPI: No One Dies Because of Covid-19 Vaccination

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – The National Commission on Post-Immunization Accidents (Komnas KIPI) chairman Hindra Irawan Satari asserted that not one person has died because of the Covid-19 vaccination to date.

He recalled there were 27 death cases allegedly due to Sinovac vaccines. However, the commission’s investigation found that the deaths were not related to the vaccination.

Ten of them died of Covid-19 infection, 14 people died of heart disease and blood vessel disorder, one suffered from sudden kidney dysfunction, and two people died due to diabetes mellitus and hypertension.

“Why can we conclude that diagnosis? Because we have complete data. They are treated and examined with x-rays, in a laboratory, with CT scan,” said Hindra in a statement published on the Health Ministry’s official page on Friday, May 21.

He also mentioned the cases of three people who died after receiving AstraZeneca vaccines. “Those cases are not caused by vaccination but rather other diseases,” Hindra said. However, he stopped short of explaining the other diseases in question specifically.
