KFC Senopati Outlet Closed for a Day for Violating Health Protocol

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – An outlet of KFC fast-food restaurant in the Senopati area in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, was closed for one day on Oct. 16, for violating health protocol during the relaxed restriction amid the Covid-19 pandemic, known as PSBB Transisi. The restaurant exceeded the maximum capacity set at 50 percent.

“Maybe since yesterday was raining, so visitors stay for quite longer inside until the restaurant’s capacity was full,” said Kebayoran Baru Regent Tommy Fudihartono in Jakarta, Saturday, Oct. 17.

Besides, KFC Senopati outlet has yet to meet health protocols requirements. “When it was checked, there was no thermo-gun to measure the visitors’ body temperature, also there’s no handwashing sink at the entrance of the restaurant,” Tommy said.

KFC Senopati was opened for the first time on that day. He hoped the restaurant would immediately improve its health protocol standard.

“We’ll check again tonight, with South Jakarta public order enforcers (Satpol PP), if they have implemented the proper protocols,” the Regent remarked.
