Jokowi Releases New Rules on Self-isolation Following Omicron Case Surge

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – President Joko Widodo or Jokowi launched a set of new regulations regarding self-isolation following the rising number of Covid-19 Omicron cases. Jokowi also suggested those who tested positive for Covid and show mild symptoms – such as cough, flu, or fever – use health service app, telemedicine, or public health center or Puskesmas. But those who are asymptomatic may self-isolate at home for five days.

Citing covid19.go.id, people who are confirmed to be positive for Omicron variant may conduct self-isolation as long as they meet the clinical and house requirements, and this only applies to the patients with mild symptoms or asymptomatic patients.
