Jakarta PSBB; Airports Subject Passengers to 5 Requirements

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta Both the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and Halim Perdanakusuma AIrport have adapted several rules to Jakarta’s reimposed “lockdown” large-scale social restriction (PSBB) which subjects airline passengers to five requirements. 

“Amidst of Jakarta’s PSBB, we would like to inform airline passengers to a number of aspects that need to be followed for the sake of their flights,” said Muhammad Awaluddin, the president director of state-airport operator Angkasa Pura II on Monday, September 14. 

The following are five requirements for people planning to travel via the two aforementioned airports:

  1. Passengers of domestic flights must bring with them official written notices of rapid test or PCR swab test results that are valid for a minimum of 14-days. 
  2. International flight passengers are encouraged to contact airline officials or embassies of destination countries for specific requirements that may be needed. 
  3. Passengers boarding International flights that land at Soekarno-Hatta and Halim Perdanakusuma must bring with them rapid test or PCR test results from countries they departed from. Those who arrive without this requirement will be subjected to PCR tests and will be quarantined until test results are produced.
  4. Passengers of both domestic and international flights arriving at the airports must fill a health alert card or HAC that can be done manually by filling a form or online via e-HAC app. 
  5. Each and every passenger will be subjected to body temperature checks and a thorough check on all of the aforementioned requirements at Soekarno-Hatta and Halim Perdanakusuma’s airport counter check-in.
