IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – The Jakarta Health Agency announced that there were 20 positive Covid-19 cases recorded on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. The latest update means the number of active cases has decreased by 6 cases.
The Health Agency’s Head of Disease Prevention and Control Division Dwi Oktavia, explained that the positive cases were recorded from testing 11,500 PCR specimens. As many as 10,130 specimens were tested using the PCR method and resulted in 10,110 negatives.
Apart from PCR tests, the results also came from specimens obtained from 46,906 Antigen tests, where two specimens showed positive infection.
This means the number of active cases in Jakarta had dropped by 6 cases to 222 cases or patients being hospitalized and in self-isolation. In total, Jakarta has recorded 864,426 cases as of December 14, 2021.
Out of the total number of positive cases, a total of 850,621 people were declared cured with a recovery rate of 98.4 percent while 13,583 people have died with a mortality rate of 1.6 percent, while the death rate on a national level is 3.4 percent.
