IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – The Indonesian Military has named 56 TNI personnel as suspects in the recent attack on Ciracas Police headquarters in East Jakarta. Fifty suspects are TNI Army soldiers while six are Navy officers.

The soldiers were named suspects after the authority examined 106 TNI members as of Wednesday, September 9.

The TNI held an interview concerning the progress of the examination and investigation into the attack on the Ciracas Cops Head Office at the Army Military Cops Head Office in Central Jakarta today.

The TNI’s Commander of the Armed Force Police Center, Maj. Gen. Eddy Rate Muis, said that the suspects are charged with Post 170 of the Lawbreaker Code on violence versus people dedicated in public. They are facing up to 5 years and 6 months in jail.

The suspects are likewise charged with Post 169 of the Lawbreaker Code on associations focused on dedicating acts of crime.
