IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – Indonesia recorded the lowest additional daily Covid-19 cases this year, as per Saturday, November 6. The national Covid-19 Task Force logged 401 new cases today.
With today’s log, the total Covid cases in Indonesia reached 4,247,721. Today’s positive cases were resulted from 256,032 specimens that were tested. Meanwhile, the total of active cases was 10,979 or a decreased of 236 cases from yesterday’s cases.
Jakarta, West Java, and Central Java logged the highest case with 68, 53, and 51 new cases, respectively.
Other provinces recorded less than 50 cases. Five provinces even did not log any new cases, namely Bengkulu, Riau Islands, West Sulawesi, and Maluku.
The Covid-19 death toll in the country was also decreased to the lowest number this year. As per today, 15 people died of Covid-19, the previous record was 17 deaths on October 31. The number of patients recovered from the disease was 622 people, totaling the recoveries to 4,093,208 cases.
