IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – Indonesian Covid-19 Task Force released daily case data on Wednesday, September 22. It logged new 2,720 Covid cases, adding the total case in the country to 4,198,678 .
The data showed that 256,163 specimens were tested. The number of active cases was recorded at 49,662, which was a decrease from 52,447 cases yesterday.
The region with the highest cases was East Java with 295 Covid-19 infections, followed by Jakarta and West Java at 227 and 211 cases respectively. Other regions recorded the number of coronavirus cases of below 200.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian Task Force data showed that 5,356 patients have recovered, totaling the recovery number to 4,008,062. But the Covid-19 related deaths also still showed a high figure. As per today, 149 people were succumbed to the illness, adding the total to 140,954 deaths.
