Gojek Readies Instant GoRide Service at 4 Integrated Stations

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – Technology giant Gojek joined the integration system at four integrated train stations in Jakarta, which are inaugurated today, June 17. By this, Instant GoRide services will be available at Juanda Station, Sudirman Station, Tanah Abang Station, and soon at Pasar Senen Station.

“The instant feature is Gojek’s concrete step in collaborating strategically for a long term as to support the program of the station areas management by managing passengers and two-wheeled driver-partners at the four stations,” said Gojek Co-CEO Kevin Aluwi in a written statement today.

The instant online ojek (motorcycle taxi) service has also been available in dozens of stations and centers of public transportation across Indonesia. The integration with mass transports was believed to boost the number of passengers.

The country’s decacorn explained that customers can get the immediate service by the time they make an order as it is directly linked to driver-partners through a special code. The service has been proved to reduce congestion in crowded pick-up points around stations.

“Based on our internal data, Instant GoRide operating in many mass transportation centers cuts the waiting time up to 40 percent when they order Gojek service,” Kevin said.

Today, June 17, Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi, SOE Minister Erick Thohir, and Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan inaugurated four integrated stations in Tanah Abang Station and Sudirman Station, Jakarta.
