Covid-19 Update; Indonesia Logs 3,948 New Cases, Over 11,000 Recoveries

IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – The number of new Covid-19 infections in Indonesia continues to decline every day, even though cases are still in the thousands. Authorities reported that as of Wednesday noon, September 15, there were 3,948 new confirmed cases over the last 24 hours. 

This is lower than yesterday’s daily count of 4,138.

Indonesia now has a total caseload of 4,178,164  since the new coronavirus was first detected in the country early March last year. 

The national Covid-19 Task Force also reported 11,046 new recoveries today, bringing the nation’s number of Covid-19 survivors to 3,953,519 people.

The government is also monitoring 333,326 with suspect statuses.

The number of deaths reported over the last day was 267. Indonesia so far has recorded 139,682 deaths related to Covid-19.
