IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – Indonesia is still recording rising positive Covid-19 cases. Based on the task force data on Saturday, Oct. 16, until 12 p.m. Jakarta time, there were 997 new cases within the past 24 hours.
This added the total number of Indonesia Covid-19 cases to 4,234,011 since the first Coronavirus infections were announced in March 2 last year.
Meanwhile, as per today, 1,525 patients have recovered from the disease. In total, there were 4,072,332 Covid survivors. The report also recorded that 44 people succumbed to Covid-19 today, totaling the death tally to 142,933.
Besides the positive cases, the Indonesian government was also monitoring 490,512 Covid suspects. Meanwhile, there were 270,811 specimens related to Coronavirus being tested today.
