Cameron Diaz opens to Gwyneth Paltrow on why she stopped making films

Hollywood stars Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow had a heart-to-heart talk where the former discussed why she retired from her acting career to focus on her individual life and relationships.

Diaz, who is among Paltrow’s “buddies in the whole universe,” was a visitor on the Iron Male star’s virtual health session arranged by Paltrow’s health and health business Goop, as seen on its YouTube channel today, Aug. 6.

Talking about their lives at the age of 40 and beyond, the actresses discussed how Diaz made some huge modifications in her life by “beginning over” after she reached that big four-zero milestone.

” I simply chose that I desired various things out of my life,” Diaz said. “I have actually gone so hard for so long, working, making films and it’s such a grind … I didn’t really make a space for my individual life.”

Not long after leaving Hollywood, Diaz satisfied her other half, Excellent Charlotte frontman Benji Madden, whom she married in 2015.

” We got wed pretty much right away due to the fact that we both knew that we had to do it,” she said.

Diaz said that she felt more “grounded” after being away from the spotlight as she revealed a few of the difficulties of being a public figure.
