IDNEWSNOW.COM, Jakarta – The Indonesian main bureau of statistics, the BPS, stated that Covid-19 impacted the income of micro, small, and big companies (UMK) along with medium and big business (UMB). The conclusion followed a study held from July 10 to July 26.
” Eighty-four percent of little micro-businesses experienced declining revenues considering that the pandemic,” BPS chief Suhariyanto said in a live broadcast on Tuesday, September 15.
Meanwhile, 13 percent of micro-businesses stated they saw no modifications in income, while 2 percent of documented income increased.
As for medium-scale services, 82 percent stated their income declined since the pandemic started. Fourteen percent said their income was the same while 2 percent stated their earnings increased.
The total number of respondents to the survey was 34,559 service actors, including 6,821 medium services, 25,256 micro-businesses, and 2,482 farming enterprises.
