Saudi-Born Preacher Stabbed Throughout Sermon in Lampung

Jakarta. A Saudi-born cleric was stabbed by a guy while providing a preaching in Lampung Province in the southern Sumatra Island on Sunday. Cops said the injury was not life-threatening.

Ali Jaber, who was granted Indonesian citizenship in January, was resting on the phase when unexpectedly an unidentified guy in a blue shirt ran towards him and swung a knife.

The case drew reaction from primary security minister Mahfud M.D., who required thorough investigation by the cops.

Authorities blamed the attack on shadowy fear group Jemaah Ansharut Daulah.
