Women’s management part of ASEAN’s center of growth vision: ASEAN-BAC

Jakarta – Chair of the ASEAN Company Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Arsjad Rasjid stressed that women’s management is an inseparable part of supporting ASEAN’s vision to become the world’s center of development.

Rasjid thinks that this remains in line with the ASEAN-BAC theme of “ASEAN Midpoint: Innovating towards Greater Inclusivity” in which inclusivity ends up being the main secret.

” When we speak about inclusivity, we need to ensure females’s leadership is also part of this. We want the younger generation to be part of this. We desire individuals with disabilities to be part of this. We do not wish to leave anyone behind,” he verified.

He made the statement here on Saturday after serving as speaker at the ASEAN Women CEO Forum 2023.

Rasjid, who simultaneously acts as chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), noted that inclusivity is ASEAN’s motto under Indonesia’s chairmanship.

” This (inclusivity) is not my word however also of all stakeholders that I talked to, in all ASEAN nations, consisting of Timor-Leste,” he mentioned.

To this end, ASEAN-BAC continues to motivate ladies’s empowerment, particularly in the business sector in the region, through efforts, consisting of encouraging business in the area to produce more women leaders.
