It is clear that the shots were fired by the KKB
Timika, Papua – The police validated a report of a bike taxi (ojek) motorist being killed by a group of six people in Ilaga, the capital of Puncak District, Papua Province, on Tuesday evening.
The ojek motorist was killed on his way home, Chief of the Public Relations Service at the Papua Provincial Cops Elder Commissioner A. M. Kamal mentioned here on Wednesday.
” Based upon the details we got, the victim was stabbed. He had time to run, however he fell and later bled to death,” he exposed.
Shortly after getting a report of an ojek motorist being killed, the Puncak district cops sent its workers to the scene. Nevertheless, an armed criminal group (KKB) fired numerous shots at them when they showed up there, he noted.
” It is clear that the shots were fired by the KKB,” he stated.
The Puncak district authorities, developed in 2020, has an irreversible command station. The district police currently has some 120 personnel out of the required figure of 500.
Earlier, a civilian was supposedly shot at close quarters by an armed criminal group in Bilogai Town, Sugapa Sub-district, Intan Jaya District.
The male, shot at 5: 30 p.m. local time on Monday, sustained gunshot injuries on the face and right shoulder, Coms. Ahmad Musthafa Kamal specified.
Kamal noted that the 32- year-old was admitted to the town’s public health center for emergency treatment not long after the event.
