Quickly take on climate modification to prevent Jakarta from sinking: MUI

Jakarta – Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) sought actions from Indonesian scientists and politicians to tackle climate change following United States President Joe Biden’s current statement that Jakarta would be immersed within a years due to increasing water level.

” We should not take President Biden’s declaration lightly,” MUI Deputy Chairman Anwar Abbas noted in an official declaration in Jakarta on Monday.

Abbas deemed the researchers’ caution and response to the environment modification concern as essential to dismiss any misconception of inactiveness till it was too late.

The MUI deputy chairman likewise called on world leaders and researchers, particularly those taken part in matters to deal with environment change and global warming, to take unified actions to study and manage them.
