President to observe mangrove planting, G20 Summit venues in Bali

Jakarta – President Joko Widodo, accompanied by First Woman Iriana, visited Bali on Oct 8 to observe mangrove planting and locations of the 2022 G20 Summit and manage handling of Bali’s Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).

The head of state, along with his entourage, removed from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force (TNI AU) Base in Jakarta aboard the Indonesia-1 governmental aircraft on Friday early morning.

Upon his arrival at the I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung District, the president will head to the Ngurah Rai Forest Park to observe the mangrove planting.

Thereafter, Jokowi is scheduled to communicate his regulations to Bali’s Forkopimda at the Wisma Sabha Utama structure at the Bali Governor’s workplace complexes.

To complete his working check outs in Bali Province, the president will observe several venues for the G20 Top, as Indonesia has been depended host such an international-scale conference.

State Secretary Minister Pratikno, Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi, Presidential Secretariat Head Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Air Vice Marshal M. Tonny Harjono, Presidential Security Detail Commander Tri Budi Utomo, Presidential Special Personnel Organizer Ari Dwipayana, and Presidential Secretariat’s Deputy of Procedure, Press, and Media Bey Machmudin accompanied President Jokowi and First Woman Iriana aboard the flight to Bali Province.
