Padang, West Sumatra – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is arranged to open the 16 th National Week of Indonesian Farmers and Anglers ( Penas Tani) in West Sumatra, which will happen from June 10–15, 2023.
” The national agenda is prepared to be opened by President Joko Widodo,” West Sumatra local secretary Hansastri notified here on Monday.
According to him, the Penas Tani Week will be participated in by countless farmers from across Indonesia and agents of countries from the Association of Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN).
The President’s presence, Hansastri stated, is expected to increase the interest of all provinces in Penas Tani XVI
The occasion should be prepared as well as possible, he included.
” This is a momentum for West Sumatra to promote local capacity not only in agriculture and animal husbandry, but likewise tourism,” Hansastri said.
