Jakarta – Chief of the Presidential Personnel (KSP), Moeldoko, said that the federal government should think about the political year as a chance to accelerate efforts to achieve advancement targets.

” The political year must be a momentum to speed up development targets, rather of decreasing for fear of public noises, or even look for safety by remaining neutral,” he included here on Thursday.

The online forum was held by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) and was participated in by the public relations staff of ministries/agencies.

This time, the forum carried the theme “Interaction Technique for Understanding Federal Government Public Relations Professionalism.”

Moeldoko stated that the government needs to preserve public trust so that development targets can be accomplished.

For this factor, there needs to be well-established interaction between the government and the neighborhood due to the fact that good communication can construct trust and move the public to participate in advancement efforts, he added.

He noted that it would not be simple to develop communication bridges amid the present political circumstance that has triggered confusion among the general public.

If this circumstance is not handled well, it might lead to a decrease in public trust in the federal government, he warned.

” This trust is our foundation to serve the general public,” he said.

Moeldoko further stated that the uncertainty in society in the political year will be a challenge for the government’s public relations actors in building expert and neutral communication bridges.
