NTT flooding death toll climbs to 128, as 72 untraceable

Jakarta – The death toll in flash floods that struck numerous districts of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province has reached 128, while 72 others remain missing and 8,424 locals were displaced.

The government did not declare a nationwide disaster status, as the regional administrations were not impacted regardless of significant flooding, Head of the National Disaster Mitigation Company (BNPB) Doni Monardo mentioned in a press conference here on Monday.
