NNCA inks knowledge-sharing pact with ADB Institute

Jakarta – The Nusantara National Capital Authority (NNCA) on Wednesday (May 3, 2023) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Asian Advancement Bank Institute (ADB Institute) to enhance cooperation in understanding sharing and research and advancement.

” The cooperation with the ADB Institute will help us broaden our network of cooperation and boost (our) capability to create a wise and sustainable capital city in Nusantara,” chairperson of the NNCA Bambang Susantono informed in his speech during the signing event in Incheon, South Korea.

He signed the MoU with the dean and CEO of ADB Institute, Tetsushi Sonobe.

“The ADB Institute is prepared to offer assistance and share experiences.

The finalizing of the MoU marks the start of cooperation for both celebrations in strengthening strategic cooperative relations in the field of knowledge.

The scope of the collective activity will include, first, the company and co-sponsoring of joint events, workshops, and/or support for activities, such as capacity building and training for resolving development concerns.

Next, it will involve encouraging research on tactical problems, such as producing habitable cities; achieving sustainable development objectives, gender equality, rural development, and food security; structure governance and institutional capacity at the subnational level, catastrophe resilience; and tackling climate modification, among others.

Lastly, it will include performing joint publications of academic journals, books, reports, and blog sites, in addition to possible e-learning outputs, podcast episodes, reports, and other understanding items.

Under the contract, NNCA and ADB Institute will likewise work together on setting up funding related to these activities.
