Ministry, Saudia Airlines ink Hajj transport pact

Semarang, Central Java – The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Saudia Airlines tattooed a cooperation contract on the transportation of Indonesian pilgrims for this year’s Hajj trip in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Monday.

The cooperation was tattooed by the ministry’s director general of Hajj and Umrah implementation, Hilman Latief, and the basic supervisor of Hajj and Umrah income management and sales of Saudia Airlines, Amer Al Ghamdi.

Under the cooperation, Saudia Airlines will transport 101,809 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims from 5 embarkation points: Batam, Palembang, Jakarta, Kertajati, and Surabaya.
