Ministry prepares football special program following SEA Games triumph

Jakarta – The Youth and Sports Ministry has prepared an unique program called Tarkam League or inter-village league, a regional amateur league to support young footballers, following the Indonesian U-22 national football group’s triumph in the 2023 SEA Games.

” Yes, (we will optimise) this moment of awakening by organising Tarkam leagues in areas. Minister Dito Ariotedjo has likewise prepared to make it one of the ministry’s concern programs,” the ministry’s Unique Personnel, Alvin Suryohadiprojo, stated in a declaration on Sunday.

The special personnel said the ministry acknowledged the value of financial investment in physical aspects to develop the nationwide football, such as by enhancing sports infrastructure and training facilities.

Athletes’ advancement should not be left behind, and the federal government will equally focus on that element, he added.

” Skills can not be nurtured only by looking for it, as they should be supported by competition. Professional athletes are established by competitions that form their mental, physics, and outlook in playing football, which will increase their quality,” Suryohadiprojo remarked.
