Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained 3 brand-new suspects in the graft case including “fictitious tasks” at state-owned aircraft maker PT Dirgantara Indonesia (DI) between 2007 and 2017.
The 3 suspects have actually been recognized as PT DI’s head of sales and marketing department from 2007-2014 and production director from 2014-2019, Arie Wibowo (AW); president director of PT Abadi Sentosa Perkasa, Didi Laksamana (DL); and, president director of PT Selaras Bangun Usaha, Ferryboat Santosa Subrata (FSS).
” For further examination, after today’s questioning of the three suspects, detectives will detain them on remand for the next 20 days, efficient from November 3 to 22, 2020,” deputy chief of KPK, Alexander Marwata, said here on Tuesday.
Wibowo will be apprehended at the East Jakarta Police jail, Laksamana at the Central Jakarta Cops jail, and Subrata at the Jakarta City Police prison, he informed.

The 3 suspects have been charged under Post 2 and 3 of Law no. 31/1999 on Corruption Removal, as modified by Law no. 20/2001 and Short Article 55 (1) of the Bad Guy Code.
In Between 2008 and 2011, PT DI had participated in partnership contracts with several trading business– PT Angkasa Mitra Karya, PT Bumiloka Tegar Perkasa, PT Abadi Sentosa Perkasa, PT Niaga Putra Bangsa, and PT Selaras Bangun Usaha.
None of the parties carried out the work stipulated in their contracts, leading to KPK declaring they were “completely fictitious” jobs.
