Jakarta to hire 1,545 contact tracing officers

Jakarta will recruit expert employees to carry out contact tracing.

Jakarta – The Jakarta provincial federal government plans to recruit 1,545 contact tracing officers and 10 information supervisors as part of efforts to take on the COVID-19 pandemic.
” Jakarta will hire professional employees to perform contact tracing. They will not be volunteers, however professional employees,” Jakarta Guv Anies Baswedan said at the Jakarta Provincial Legal Council (DPRD) structure on Tuesday.

The recruitment of contact tracing officers and data supervisors is aimed at broadening contact tracing of homeowners exposed to the unique coronavirus illness (COVID-19), he informed.

Applicants can sign up with regional authorities voluntarily and at their own initiative, he said including, they will be employed as professional workers to help expand the reach of agreement tracing.

The contact tracing officers will be utilized for the month of December,2020 They may be re-employed, depending upon the progress of the COVID-19 pandemic, Baswedan notified.

” Obviously, we will follow (the progress of) the pandemic. Because this budget plan year will end in December, we will look at the advancement ahead (to take a contact their re-employment),” he stated.

Prospects getting the posts of contact tracing officers and information supervisors need to submit and send a kind and upload their latest diploma and certificate of health by 11.59 p.m. WIB (West Indonesia Requirement Time), November 4, 2020.

Those applying for the post of contact tracing officers must hold at least a D III diploma in the field of health and be comfortable using cellphone applications.

Meanwhile, the candidates for data manager posts at district/municipal level need to be at least S2 graduates in the field of health, and ideally hold epidemiology registration certificates (STR).
