Jakarta – National Authorities Chief General Idham Azis advised the Heads of Cops Regional Systems (Kasatwil) to impose health protocols strictly, eliminate crowds, and adopt a neutral technique during local elections otherwise be sanctioned.
The general gave guidelines while leading a roll call in which the attendees made up provincial, district, and municipality authorities chiefs throughout Indonesia, at the Police Headquarters, here on Wednesday, Prabowo Argo Yuwono, spokesperson of the National Authorities, said.

The National Police Chief has permitted the public to hold rallies in connection with the Job Development Law. However, the regional authorities are instructed to take firm action right away if the demonstration took an anarchist turn.
On the other hand, ahead of Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021, the National Cops will hold a special central Authorities operation code-named “Operasi Lilin” from Dec 23, 2020, to Jan 4, 2021.
