Jakarta – French man, Francois Abello Camille (FAC), alias Frans (65), believed of sexually abusing 305 minors, passed away after trying to eliminate himself in detention by braiding a wire around his neck, the cops confirmed here, Monday.
Senior Commissioner Yusri Yunus, a spokesman of the Jakarta City Police, revealed that the police found FAC in his cell with a wire injury around his neck on Thursday (July 9).
” When a guard examined the cells, he found FAC with a wire twisted around his neck. However, the wire was not found dangling (from the ceiling) any longer,” Yunus mentioned.
Frans was taken to the Kramat Jati Cops Hospital in East Jakarta for additional medical treatment.
However, Frans was declared dead on Sunday at around 8 p.m. local time, Yunus kept in mind.
” After 3 days of medical treatment, he passed away last night at 8 p.m. local time,” Yunus stated.
Yunus mentioned that the other detainees were not able to reach the wire set high on the ceiling, though Frans, a tall-statured guy, managed to scale the bathroom walls and affix the wire onto the ceiling to dedicate suicide.
