Jakarta – The Indonesian government on Wednesday started presenting door-to-door COVID-19 vaccinations targeting at least 19 thousand residents.
” Door-to-door vaccination is excellent. We thank the chiefs of RTs (community associations) for their involvement in encouraging their residents to get immunized,” President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said while practically observing door-to-door vaccinations of junior and senior high school trainees on Wednesday.
The door-to-door vaccination drive is targeting a minimum of 19 thousand individuals, he informed.
“ Today, 49 thousand children will get vaccinated. They consist of 15 thousand junior high school trainees, 15 thousand secondary school trainees, and also 19 thousand through door-to-door vaccination drive,” Widodo stated

The vaccinations will be conducted at 32 different places spread across 15 districts and cities in 14 provinces in the country, he included.
