COVID-19: Indonesia reports 8,054 fresh cases

Jakarta – Indonesia included 8,054 COVID-19 cases on Saturday (February 20, 2021), which took the country’s overall case tally to 1,271,353, according to data provided by the Job Force for COVID-19 Action.

Since 12 p.m. WIB (Western Indonesia Time) on Saturday, the number of active cases, or clients under treatment for COVID-19, stood at 158,197

With the addition of 9,835 healings, the number of individuals recovering from the infection increased to 1,078,840 The number of deaths increased by 164 to reach 34,316

Jakarta still reported the greatest variety of brand-new cases at 2,872, followed by West Java (975), Central Java (805), East Java (601), and East Kalimantan (552).

The capital city also led in the number of new recoveries which were recorded at 2,886, followed by West Java (1,528), East Kalimantan (811), East Java (589), and Bali (469).
