Construction starts on replica of UAE grand mosque

Solo, C Java – The Indonesian government has actually begun building and construction of the Grand Mosque Sheikh Zayed in Solo, Central Java, which is being built as a symbol of Indonesia-United Arab Emirates friendship.

He said the mosque, which is being built using a grant from UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed An Bahan to Indonesian President Joko Widodo, will work as a sign of Indonesia-UAE friendship.

UAE’s Minister of Energy and Industry, Suhail Mohammed Al Mazroui, stated the UAE government is trying to make the architecture of the mosque look like that of the mosque in Abu Dhabi.
