BI uses scholarships to 361 students in Aceh

Recipients of Bank Indonesia scholarships 2020 will join Bank Indonesia Scholarship Receiver Community called the GenBI (New Indonesian Generation).

Banda Aceh, Aceh – The Bank Indonesia (BI) Representative Workplace in Aceh provides scholarships to 361 students from different institutes of higher knowing in the nation’s westernmost province.

” Receivers of Bank Indonesia scholarships 2020 will sign up with the Bank Indonesia Scholarship Recipient Neighborhood called GenBI (New Indonesian Generation),” Chief of the BI Representative Workplace in Aceh Achris Sarwani specified here on Thursday.

Sarwani made the remarks during the launch of Bank Indonesia scholarships and Virtual Genbi Leadership Camp 2020 in Aceh Province through a leadership & entrepreneurship webinar themed “Build Your Leadership and be an Effective Young Entrepreneur.”

He kept in mind that the 361 students are those selected from the University of Syiah Kuala, UIN Ar-Raniry, University of Teuku Umar, University of Abulyatama, University of Muhammadiyah Aceh, Aceh Polytechnic and South Aceh Polytechnic.

” The GenBI Neighborhood may work as a forum for recipients of the Bank Indonesia scholarships to hold conversations, boost social sensitivity, and foster the spirit and commitment to the general public,” he mentioned.

BI is also active in establishing the capability of GenBI members by providing them different training courses, consisting of soft and difficult skills, he mentioned.

” The training courses are targeted at improving private skills, developing character, and motivating the leadership spirit on the part of GenBI members to enable them to become excellent and competitive people,” he remarked.

Among the activities carried out by Bank Indonesia to nurture the management spirit of GenBI members is the Management Camp held regularly every year. The event was held practically this year in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
