Jakarta. The Indonesian government embraced a new alert system concerning the Covid-19 outbreak to manage the level of threats and identify essential intervention based upon the danger level.
According to a Home Affairs Minister’s decree launched to the media on Wednesday, the term “state of emergency” is no longer in usage and instead the government will use alert level 1-4.
The decree was released after President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo extended constraints in Java and Bali till July 25.
The four-tiered threat measurement follows World Health Company’s guidelines based on caseloads, death toll and hospitalization numbers.
Level four– the greatest– currently applies in whole Jakarta and numerous other cities mainly in Java, according to the decree signed by Home Affirs Minister Tito Karnavian.

East Java Province: Tulungagung, Sidoarjo, Madiun District, Lamongan, Gresik, Surabaya, Mojokerto, Malang City, Madiun City, Kediri, Blitar and Batu.
